Kate Hall
Kate is one of the founders and directors of Harbour Counselling
After completing her Masters at the University of Cambridge kate was responsible for setting up and running Harbour counselling a school based counselling service across three primary schools
Kates Therapeutic approach is integrative and child-led
Children and young people experience the same traumas and challenges as adults whilst not always being able to manage the emotions and feelings that go with them
Harbour aims to offer a safe space for children and adolescents to process emotions through both talking and using play and the medium of art to facilitate the processing and understanding of their own feelings
Kate is registered with The BACP ( British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists )
Bryony Goodliffe
Bryony is the co founder and director of Harbour counselling
Bryony Goodliffe began studying Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at Cambridge University following a number of years working as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools. Whilst enjoying her work with children, Bryony felt she had more to offer and wanted to be able to work with children focusing on their feelings, emotions and well being. Since graduating, she has worked in two primary schools in Essex and Cambridgeshire offering an integrative, child led approach. Bryony is registered with BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and adheres to their codes of conduct, performance and ethics.
Bronwen Jones
Bronwen is a child and adolescent therapist and works in our primary school team.
Bronwen is an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor who trained at Cambridge University. She works with children and adolescents in Essex and Cambridgeshire. Bronwen uses the Arts and play alongside talking to help young people make sense of big feelings and significant life events. Her work is child-led, meaning that children choose which materials they want to use and they guide the session. She is a registered practitioner currently working towards UKCP accreditation.
